Today marked the beginning of the Novena in preparation for the Nativity of Our Blessed Mother Mary, a time of prayer, reflection, and community for all who attended. The day began with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony, symbolizing our unity and devotion. This was followed by a heartfelt prayer, setting the tone for the day’s spiritual activities.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Lourdu Prasad, the Rector of St. Philomena’s College in Mysuru. As the main celebrant, Rev. Fr. Lourdu Prasad led the congregation in a deeply moving Eucharistic celebration, delivering an inspiring homily that resonated with all present.
Following the Eucharist, the congregation moved outside to the Grotto near the Church, where they gathered to honor Mother Mary by offering flowers. This touching act of devotion was a wonderful way to express their love and reverence for Our Blessed Mother.
After the floral tribute, everyone was invited to share in a meal together, fostering a spirit of fellowship and unity among all attendees. The evening concluded with a shared sense of joy and anticipation for the days ahead as we continue to prepare for the Nativity of Mother Mary.
This Novena was thoughtfully organized by the dedicated members of the Mother Teresa Ward, whose efforts ensured a meaningful and enriching experience for all. We look forward to the continued celebrations and reflections in the days to come.
